What Does Reinstatement Mean?
Doing well When the insured property is damaged, the settlement is usually made with cash, but the policy may allow the policyholder or insurer to restore or rebuild it.
Reinstatement means: Reactivating expired policies. Recovery may take effect after the expiration date and will result in termination of insurance coverage. Some companies require interest in addition to proof of insurance and payment of premiums.
